the who's tommy

how does understanding context affect our appreciation of a topic?

Tommy: the story, the amazing journey. That's what they say, anyway. But what was this journey? We're going to see a production of Tommy at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts this week, but before we go, we're going to delve into its context a bit to gain a broader understanding before we see this one-of-a-kind play.

Module summary:
  • watch documentary on The Who
  • research topics related to Tommy
  • see production of Tommy at DCPA
  • write up reaction to production

essential questions

goals
