let's go on holiday!

what does effective advertising involve?

Last week before Spring Break! Let's pretend we can travel anywhere in the world... where would you go? And if you had to pitch this location to the rest of us, how would you do it? This week, we'll be combining a wee bit of research with a wee bit of writing and a lot of design to make stunning tri-fold brochures showcasing fun holiday destinations.

Module summary:
  • read and annotate a brief travel article
  • practice making a brochure together using canva.com
  • choose a location to research
  • create a beautiful brochure to showcase your location

essential questions

  • How do we articulate effectively to advertise effectively?
  • How can we use online tools to present information in dynamic, engaging ways?

goals
