cchs librarians to the rescue

do you (and should you) judge a book by its cover?

Our module this week is a "Be Curious" module - because I want you to be curious about what titles should be in our library! I want our collection to bee relevant, varied, and thoughtful. And it needs your help.

Module summary:
  • Expose: discuss merits (and challenges) of reading; establish criteria for a book worth reading
  • Practice: review library offerings and sort; discuss embellishment ideas for library
  • Create: create and implement multimedia system for recommending books to classmates
  • Reflect: write narrative reflection paragraph, discuss with Christine

essential questions

  • What do you look for in a book?
